Edutopia
Today I visited the web site http://www.edutopia.org/carol-dweck-intelligence-research in which I read an article about how teachers should tell the teachers to feed their brain. Something else I would like to learn how different strategies of how to make children more engaged in lessons and learning. As a teacher I believe it is import to have children involved in classroom activities.
PBS/ PBSKids
The web site I visited today was http://www.pbs.org in that page I logged on to the linked of pbskids which I found very fun and interesting for children. This page has games and videos for children with familiar TV characters for them. Something that I would like to learn more about is how is it, that some TV characters are attractive for them and how others are not, that is an interesting research I would like to do.
Scholastic Books, Worksheets, & Lessons
The web sit that I visited today is the http://www2.scholastic.com/browse/home.jsp which is wonderful tool for teachers. This web site has all that a teacher can ask for or need when teaching in a classroom. In this web site you can find books, worksheets, and lesson plans for children of all ages. After browsing through this web site I feel I would like to learn more about different type of books and learn which ones work best for teaching children how to become successful readers.

SALT
The web organization that I browsed through this week is http://salt.org/salt Society of Applied Learning Technology. Through this organization members are have access to Technology conferences which help them stay up to date with the latest technology for education. I found this organization very helpful for teachers because it is important to be up to date with technology because technology is a great way to get children’s attention. In the future I would like to learn about how to create lessons and tests online for many students. I believe that will make martial much more meaningful and interesting for them.

Counseling for Exceptional Children
This week I had the opportunity to browse through a grate web site designed for exceptional children. The web site I visited was http://www.cec.sped.org/ it is an online organization that teachers are welcomed to join and it provides them with professional development, as well as other workshops on how to work with exceptional children. This organization is called Counseling for Exceptional Children; all the material presented in this web page is about exceptional children. In my opinion this online organization is a good one to know about because it contains very helpful information for teachers to help exceptional children. After reading of this organization I realized one of the topics I would like to learn more about is Autism and what I could do to help those children succeed.

TESOL
This week I researched an organization on the web; http://www.tesol.org/s_tesol/index.asp this web page is very helpful to all those teachers that teach English as a second language to students. In this web page teachers can find online sources such as books, journal articles, online professional development and other material that is helpful for teachers and students learning. As a future bilingual teacher this web sit will be very beneficial for me. One thing that is very interesting for me is how to tech students English if their first language is other than Spanish, this is why I would like to research what other language is as common as English and Spanish in the world and which everyone it is I would like to learn it because chances are that I will encounter students with that other common language.

Theory to Practice: Literacy Across the Curriculum for Today and Tomorrow
This week I visited a web site in which I read a very interesting article about Internet, technology literacy. The address of the web site is http://eduscapes.com/ and the link that leads to the article I read is under the Literature Learning Ladders. The article illustrats that the us of Internet is tied to all subject areas in school and literacy is need to understand the information on web therefore literacy and technology go hand in hand, one is needed to understand the other. After reading this article I decided I would like to study children closely and observe how much literacy children are surrounded by.

Articles to help students with needs & Edu. Tips
The article I read was "Sports offer Autistic Kids Physical and Social Benefits" this article was posted on the web sitehttp://www.education-world.com/ under the Professional Development section. The article was about how individual spots can help autistic children become more confident about themselves and help their social and communication skills. The article also mentioned ways the teachers in classrooms can identify the individual sport that is most appropriate for the child. This web page is full of other good information that as a future teacher I would like to incorporate into my classroom. One thing that I liked about the page was the tips to prevent students from stressing over test, this will be very helpful to prevent students stress over the TAKS Test in the future. One thing I would like to learn more about is Classroom Management and this web site also has many tips for good classroom management.
